I have no idea, but the times that it woke from apparently poweroff matched up perfectly with the times in TaskScheduler. It is all very fishy. I agree it should not be able to, but did...

Agreed... But TVs maintain power to some components when turned off. Do computers do anything similar?

PS... Just checked my ASUS board, which is turned off, but the motherboard still has lights on.

It turns out that none of the problems I thought I previously solved about waking computers actually was solved.

On the bright side, the systems that were upgraded from Windows 8.1 to 10 have shown remarkable improvements in every respect since the initial upgrade. First from updates, and now especially from the upgrade to Build 10532.
