If there is any one reason I am extremely Bullish on this sector now, it's because it is currently trading BELOW '95 levels, even though we are still on track to begin the implementation of 300mm in late 1999. IMHO, '98 will be one hell of a year for AMAT and the rest of this group. Everyone is currently down on this sector because of the potentially flat year ahead of us. KIM however, that the market is a discounting mechanism, and sometime in the April/May timeframe, MM's are going to begin looking toward '99, thus leaving the Korean slowdown of '98 in the dust.
