It would be exciting! One issue is I believe the programmed trading has sucked much of the return out of the market similar to my method but in fractions of pennies and gazillions of transactions. Without that sucking, we might be in the center of that pitchfork but I think all the 401K ma and pa investments were sucked out by those programs.

Still, even if we just stay on the lower line (they don't fix it with a tiny transaction tax or something similar to make it unprofitable) that slope of the line we are on now is still a nice return.

TSMC orders NT$2.72 billion of equipment
MOPS; Jessie Shen, DIGITIMES [Wednesday 18 November 2015]

Contract chipmaker Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC) has purchased a batch of machinery and engineering equipment from NuFlare Technology, Ultratech and Ebara for a total of about NT$2.72 billion (US$83 million), according to a company filing with the Taiwan Stock Exchange (TSE).

TSMC recently announced two separate equipment purchases from Screen Semiconductor Solutions and Marketech International totaling NT$857 million.

TSMC estimated previously its total capex for 2015 at US$8 billion, the lowest since 2012 when the foundry spent US$8.32 billion.
