I don't see anything wrong with people having guns IN their homes for personal protection.

because home invasion is the only crime anyone ever worries about. right?

But, even in the home I don't think people should be able to have automatic rifles or machine guns.

yeah... banning automatic weapons was to specifically stop this sort of thing.

youtube.com

I also don't think people should be able to carry guns in public without having to go through some very severe scrutiny.

I assure you if someone open carried a AR15 slung over his back, he'd get a whole lot of scrutiny

Also, people that own guns should be required to carry insurance on liabilities possibly caused by those guns.

Also, libtards that are idiots should be required to carry insurance on liabilities certainly caused by their idiocy.

You think people have machine guns and automatic rifles? It is possible to possess those but the licensing requirements are so onerous, virtually no one does. You know how stupid liberals sound when they talk like automatic rifles and machine guns are a problem in our society?

I also don't think people should be able to carry guns in public without having to go through some very severe scrutiny.

Like requiring training and registering fingerprints with the state police?

Also, people that own guns should be required to carry insurance on liabilities possibly caused by those guns.

People are already liable for that. Insurance would just be a way for the govt to hassle gun owners with the intention of confiscating all guns.
