I don't fault them for going for it on 4th down. It was a reasonable call given the situation of the game.

BTW, I think my pre-game prediction turned out to be pretty close. The Patriots largely shut down the Denver running game, giving them a chance at the end, but the Denver defense was up to the challenge. The Denver D gave up the average amount of points -18. Terrific game! A real classic battle...

The speed of the Denver defense is unique. When they make a mistake, they recover very quickly. They largely carried Denver the first half of the year, fell into a bit of a mid year slump and then recovered back to their old form at the end of the season.

Sports Illustrated counted 25 hits on Brady, the most on any QB in any game since 2006.

No wonder NE fired the o-line coach.
