Maurice, I think you meant to upload your post on the Rubbish Dump. As you've said, the right-wing believes you have freedom of speech just so long as you say it where no one will hear it and post it where no one will read it. In public the right-wing wants us to be "politically correct" and pretend global warming doesn't exist, just as they used to insist on politically correct prohibitions on speaking about evolution or a spherical Earth.
