Profits - Re: " The days of $1.5B in profits are over ..."

What profits do you expect Intel to earn this past quarter (Q497)?

Profit,
RE: <<An Intel stock price of $60 in Q198 is very realistic, and $50 is more likely by the end of 1998.>>

As a true Prophet for the Church of Intel allow me to masquerade for a few seconds as an AMD'er and complete "our" prediction for AMD:

>> An AMD stock price of $40 in Q198 is very realistic, and $90 is more likely by the end of 1998.<<

Let me turn my hat around:
On a more serious vein, allow me to suggest that Intel will double in 1998, and that AMD & AAPL graphs will cross sometime in Q198.

We are here to find winners, not loosers. I once was a heavy investor in AMD,
humble carl

Profts,

How well are the P-II systems selling?

Very well, just look at the corporate accounts, especially the big ones.

John.
