If I were a betting man, I would go all-in on the FBI not recommending that charges be filed against Hillary.

The electronic betting markets strongly agree with you, so it appears to be a safe bet; however, it is important to note that the electronic betting markets were quite wrong about BREXIT. Just 36 hours before the votes were tallied, Predictit showed less than a 30% chance of BREXIT passing.

Many comments about a Clinton indictment/non-indictment from bettors...

>> Speaking of which, it was reported that Bill Clinton and Loretta Lynch met privately yesterday. Shortly afterwards, Lynch announced that she will accept the recommendations of the FBI.

The pressure was great. The meeting with Clinton was clearly inappropriate. And Lynch, while not technically recusing herself, did what she had to do: To say publicly she will follow the FBI advice is enough for me. Now, it is on Comey.

There is no putting the toothpaste back in the tube on ethical violations but honestly, Lynch has done all she could possibly do, and she did it quickly. That's about all one can ask at this point.

Ten, I'm not sure.

Comey stood up to GWB on the use of EITs and was likely the person who persuaded him (under threat of resignation) to give it up. According to at least one account, Comey sat privately with Bush and convinced him within minutes.

Even though I supported EITs, I was impressed when I read this account.

But I think he'll be outspoken about the wrong doing -- more than the IG was -- even if they don't recommend prosecution.

I don't think he is deeply partisan enough to allow it to influence him professionally.
