Tom - No problem.. I say we can agree to disagree, if you'll allow me 3 points....

1) Microsoft had no ready competitor waiting to supplant Windows 95 when it was late.... Ericsson wouldn't have that luxury if they came in 2 years late with WCDMA.

2) Don't forget to factor in the dividends from ERICY into your ratio. If I'm not mistaken, QCOM doesn't yet have those.

3) Proving that Ericsson isn't doing something is like asking me to prove I don't abuse my spouse.... You can't prove a negative, just like you can't conclusively verify people's intentions or motives (the O.J. Simpson trial notwithstanding).

Don't look now, but that truck with the big ERICY nameplate in your rear view mirror just closed the gap to 1.16..... ;-) Sorry ... I couldn't resist...

As for Ericsson having been a great investment for you - I am happy for you. In September I posted to you a point that the ratio of QCOM price to ERICY price was 1.2. I suggested we check out this ratio a year hence. Despite the recent drop in Qcom stock it is now 1.39. I suggest that you ask what ERICY has done for you lately? Tom
