Christopher, APMC is an interesting stock, but this may not be the time to buy. Applied Microsysems is a software solutions company and they just released a warning about future earnings due to their Asian exposure. The company's fundamentals are good however and it is a good stock to keep on the watchlist.

Needham and Hambrecht & Quist have buy ratings on the stock based on the successful introduction of APMC's new product in Aug.

The company has over $2/share in cash. There are 6.8 million shares but the float is only 1.4 million. Lots of institutional buying and selling in Sept. Same in May. It seems to me that APMC may be a stock that institutional players like to make quick plays in. Anyway, bsed on the Asian situation and the yesterday's earnings announcement, this may not be the best time to buy APMC.
