Stitch, with Malaysia once again droping back down, do you think that it will break the recent lows? It seems as if the full impact of the devaluation may have not been fully reflected out there, but then, for me it is a far away country on which I know very little.

By the way, I aplogize if I am repeating some info other have already brought to the fore. I ahd a "small problem" that got me disciplined into the "penalty box" by SI and thus could not come here and visit this excellent thread for quite a number of days.

C'est la vie.

Stitch:

Can you elaborate on Sime Darby? Sorry I can't find Sankar's question and going back in the thread doesn't get me on track for the posts leading up to this recommendation.

Thanks.

Jack

Stitch,

I started investing in Malaysia through the webs early in the crisis. Have a few shares of EWM @ average cost of 7, EWM now trading @ 4 3/4 - 5 a share. I've been thinking about some cost averaging in about 3 - 6 months out. Your thoughts on how much lower the KLSE and the ringit can go? And do you think it is reasonable to expect a bottom in 3 - 6 months? Or am I just far too early?

Glad for your participation here.

Barry
