They have been abandoned by politicians from both parties until Trump came along. Bentway, what I think is critical to look at in this last election is those counties that flipped. Counties that 4 years ago voted for an African-American and this time voted for Trump. My county was one of them - I get it. I watched it happen. When you say these people are "suckers" you are insulting every one of them who are begging for things to change back the way they were. I'm with you that that's not going to happen - but what can happen is to listen to them with respect and do what you can instead of calling them "deplorables".

Absolutely agree. Trump has utter contempt for the voters he managed to sucker. You can see it clearly in some of his 'Victory lap' speeches. Or at least intelligent people can.

Its probably not his best business venture but I wouldnt place too much emphasis on it even though some students did benefit from the classes. Trumps past are full of moments showing genuine love for people..Jennifer Hudson after the murder of her family, prevented a farmer from going into foreclosure, sent money to a sergeant who was released from a Mexican prison, rewarded a bus driver that saved a woman from committing suicide and many more. Nevertheless he won the hearts of people across the nation mainly because he was believable, spoke from heart and showed genuine care. The disparity between the two in that regard was very evident. As far as his ego I don't want him losing it , I want it to work for us.
