I had expected AAPL to move higher today followed by some profit taking at the end of the session. Well...it went the other way. AAPL went lower for most of the day then recovered a bit towards the end. When will I learn to read this market better?

Anyway, Macintouch is reporting that there may be some truth to the rumor that PowerExpress line has been canceled. This is rather strange considering that PowerExpress has been in Apple's pipeline for about 1.5 years! PowerDelay? PowerMac G3 Exteremly Late?

Looks like Apple will simply introduce a speed-bumped version of the current G3 line at MW. Perhaps the PowerExpress cancellation rumor is planted by Apple to stimulate the market to buy the speed bumped and current G3s instead of waiting for the PowerExpress.

We'll probably see more pieces to this puzzle tomorrow. Maybe everything will fit then.

Eric

Sam: He is a discount type. I thought of "online" but I have heard horror stories. Another reason: I use my broker as a quote service. When I'm on the road I call him for quotes.
