When people can't afford to buy stuff, they start buying pre-owned stuff. I think we've been stuff-conditioned by 70 years of TV commercials.

We have a 'buy stuff' based economy, Steve. It's ugly, stupid and crass, but it is what it is. We buy cheap, foreign made stuff now because of this:
