<SHIPPING ENGINEERING SAMPLES AS PRODUCTION UNITS>

Wang, you always were somewhat slow in understanding. If you think you are smarter than all product planning managers at Compaq and IBM, it is your problem. Incurable probably, and really choky to swallow.

John , you are still in a state of denial ..
INTEL IS IN FOR SERIOUS COMPETITION .
The more you try to deny that fact the less credibility you have .

PS Gateway is next , then even Dell will have to sign with AMD when they see that they are missing sales

JYW, re: shipping K6m from Sunnyvale. WHY NOT? The SV facility is capable of 1000 wafers/week. Because of its tiny die size, even if they use only HALF of it for K6m production, they could make 130,000 K6m's per week there. Save Austin for ramping up the much larger production of K6-3D's.

John , re. gullible investors
Since Compaq by their decision to opt solely for AMD chips in their below $1200 are entrusting their future to AMD's ability to produce K6s in quantity , who is the gullible investor ?
By your statements you are intimating that you have more insight and intelligence than a company like Compaq .
John if that is true , you must really have a big ego .
Brian
PS I also suggest when you look at a long term chart of AMD you make sure that you have it the right way up .
