You are completely clueless. The total Indy market is cr 6% of the USA (about 20M out of 320M). Of that 6%, about 65% or so, so about 4% of the population is on exchange, and the rest is off exchange. Its the cr 7-8 M off exchange, and perhaps 1M on-exchange that got screwed (like me). My rate went up nearly 5x BTW.

You could say that 90% of Americans don't have much at all to do with the ACA other than get excited about it by listening to talk radio nutcases...

To create a system like Obamacare and force 90% of Americans to pay 2-3 times as much as they used to, so that 5% of the most unhealthy people in the country due to their own life choices can have health care, as well as another 5% that are too poor to afford it?

<<<<<but I exercise regularly and do my best to eat right>>>>?
Good for you BUT you may still wake up tomorrow and have a stroke and blow bubbles for the next 20 years. Or you may be entirely healthy and go to the dr. tomorrow to learn you have MS or early onset to dementia or a cancer diagnoses or Parkinson diagnoses. There are no guarantees in life. PERIOD! You are a living time bomb just waiting for some disease to get you and eventually kill you. Every one of us is.

I agree completely with your points on debt. People who know me from way back will remember how hard I argued for Obama NOT to implement the Keynesian spending ideas of Krugman. Krugman wanted spending three times higher than Obama enacted. Liberals summarily blasted me then and announced the idea that debt was a good idea now for our country because interest rates were low. That we should borrow all the money China offered us. That was stupid then and is even stupider now because the economy is doing good now. Now it is republicans that are recklessly borrowing and offering us a load of shit arguments as to why the deficit doesn't matter.
