One party knows how knowledge is passed on, not by the stories they tell but by the facts they can prove (and have proven). One party doesn't do facts anymore. They literally make things up. Lies about death panels and Kenya are headline news. They like stories and like little children, they think these stories are true. Teaching a republican to think again after decades of being spoon fed mindless hate will be challenging. Teaching them to be adults again is impossible.
