Sounds expensive! I don't know a lot of public schools that could afford all that stuff, just for the sake of leaving guns alone. I don't know any teachers that want to carry at school. It's ridiculous.

...the following would, imo, go well beyond any benefit of banning assault weapons. Diversion--per my opening statement: The only place you get the negatives on any proposal is from the opposition, who have thought it through. In this case, though, that is missing because those in opposition don't analyze the proposal either because they just blow the idea off on grounds of the 2nd amendment and/or dismiss the banning as ineffective out of hand. Dueling proposals get us absolutely nowhere.
