Hey, good to hear from ya!

None of the above for me
you are free to describe our your self any way you please..."super conservative, ..Trump conservative....pelosi antagonist...constitutional conservative......NRA conservative or just a plain old fat cat Republican"

I'm a libertarian who quit the democratic party. I actually voted for HRC because I didn't like Trump the person long before he ran for office and wanted my meaningless vote in Super Liberal Taxifornia to go to her rather than a Libertarian... I believe this was the first president who won their first election that I didn't vote for, ie my first loser for a first term. I believe I voted against ALL presidents getting their second terms as punishment for lying to us and other misdeeds.

But, like you I hope Trump does well, finishes his term, and the democrats are motivated to give us a better candidate than Bernie, HRC or President Obama's wife next time

I LOVE what Trump did to cut taxes for corporations to make them more competitive but I'm MAD AS HELL that he didn't fix the carried interest loophole AND paid for the 1.5% tax cut for the very wealthy by making the rest of us pay for it by losing our deductions for state and local taxes.

Of course, I can't blame most of the country not wanting to subsidize our overly liberal governments that spend taxpayer dollars trying to protect people in the country illegally from the Federal government employees trying to enforce the laws. It is like being long and short a stock at the same frigging time - paying the feds to enforce laws the silly states are paying others to ignore and protect criminals from.

GE:

I covered this some in my newsletter but I think the could recover much like HP recovered after Carly ruined it by buying Compaq at the very top and paying more attention to her hair and team of stylists that followed her around than engineering (pissing off most who worked there).... ALL the pieces they sold off as IPOs did great but the best went to investment bankers for cash (AVGO/Broadcom) so we were screwed in that perhaps just as we only got cash to repurchase EXPENSIVE GE shares when it spun-off Syncrony Bank.
I see a number of posts about GE.....I own some and will likely add to my position post earnings. They have new leadership that is headed in the right direction. I hope they are kept in the DOW Industrials. The recovery of GE is complex and there is not much use in guessing how things play out (too many moving parts).
Like HP buying Compaq at the top, GE bought some industries at their tops too. Perhaps with higher oil prices and missals raining over Syria, these are worth more than they were a week or two ago.
