God Mason, If there ever was a jinx on a stock going up it was your most recent post. Take a breather pal, all that good stuff you spouted was already reflected in these stocks. I knew when I read your post we were doomed. Damn!!!!!

Mason,

re:Anyway, I'm buying to margin limits at open on my theory...

IMO, now is an exceptionally risky time to have a margin loan. I tend to focus on the fact that Margin leverages in both directions: Up and Down. Just because prices are at or nearing historic lows doesn't mean that they won't head lower when you can least afford that.

Good luck but use a little caution too, ;-)

Ian.

BUY!! no, SELL!!, no, SHORT then COVER!!. no, SELL then QUICKLY BUY!!!!. no, no,no, just KEEP SELLING!!!!!!

If there was ever a confluence of factors predictive of lots of volatility with no clear direction, we've had them this month. Asian markets up then down then up then....... Intel earnings up but margins down. Suharno says one thing today and a different thing tomorrow, contradicting what he said last week. Anyone who wants to trade short term should take a valium. The tech sector will gap up or down, for sure, but past history indicates that the rally will continue until it ends. Anyway, I'm buying to margin limits at open on the theory that I can predict the future. Lots of people have been talking about their margin calls recently, but I'm smarter than them.

I've been wrong before.......
