Kevin, interesting list. Some FA I dug up:

All four stocks are due for earnings reports and are prone to big swings based on the market's reaction.
IMRS reports the last week of Jan.
VIAS reports 1/27
GSNX reports 1/21
CREE reports 1/15

IMRS and VIAS are both Y-2K plays and their earnings are particularly important as investors are looking for evidence of profitability and market leadership in this highly lucrative but highly competitive sector. Both of these stocks have large short positions as of the end of Dec.
Two insiders sold 28,000 shares of VIAS in Sept. at $54.75.

GSNX - 3 insiders sold 200,000 shares in July and Aug. at prices ranging from $15.77 to $18.00.

CREE - had a very large short position at the end of Dec. Four insiders sold 58,000 shares in Oct. and Nov. at prices ranging from
$22.17 to $26.56.

Good luck Kevin. Watch out for the earnings dates.
