You left off some
The fools still have not learned how to help their constituents - get a job and education, save up a down payment - work the banks hard for a low rate in a 15 year mortgage and pay it off early!
Obama's greatest failure was he didn't use his position to show how kids can do well with two parents or two grandparents with both male and female role models to show you how to treat people.

Also, I went with 30 yr variable loans as rates were falling and that meant I could put more of my paycheck into stocks which I hoped would outperform the loan costs after taxes....

Only when I thought rates were at a low (I was too early) I locked in for 15 yrs at 3.375% AND put cash in iBonds, TIPS and CDs that pretty much make the payments. The idea being the Fed will create another bubble and the 3.375 will be a rate they would want me to repay early...

The idiotic far left STILL doesn't understand why they lost the election.

One of our good, local politicians, Joe Simitian, went on a trip to many of the districts that voted for Obama and switched to Trump to try and understand why.

mercurynews.com

“Basically, they ran out of patience … and they were not about to cast a vote for what they saw as business as usual,” he said. “This was a recurring theme in every county I visited and almost every conversation I had. … Desperate people make desperate choices.

What I think he and most democrats miss are:
  • They keep saying Trump voters are voting against their own self interest. That they would get more government handouts if they voted for Hilary. They are clueless that most resent they are in a position that they "need handouts"

  • Wanting to keep more of your own money rather than giving it to programs that support things like "illegal immigration" is not immoral.
