I'm not sure what part of the state you live in but down here in Southern Cali we are overrun by illegals. They live multiple families in a single family residence and you can't even find a place to park on the streets in many neighborhoods. It's really absurd. Homelessness is completely out of hand because rents are insane. Landlords know what is going on, but they like it because they can get a huge return on their investment by housing all of these illegals.

This entire area looks like a poorly planned Sim City. lol. I'm not even sure why I am here anymore. Cali is going to end up resembling Mumbai or Caracas if they do not change policy, and it looks like that will never happen.

Electric cars are not cleaner. Morgan Stanley did an analysis on it last year and overall, they are responsible for more emissions into the atmosphere than a gasoline engine.

The reason Western governments are pushing electric cars is because they believe the populations need to be reeducated so they will take part in behavior that allows for greater "resource sharing".

There is not enough oil to allow underdeveloped areas of the world like Asia, India and Africa to lift themselves into modern middle class style economic status if the developed economies consume as much oil as they have in the past. So, they are telling everyone that electric cars are going to save the planet.

The truth is that for every barrel of oil you do not use, that is a barrel of oil that Africa or India can use. . If they told you to drive an electric because Africa needs the oil or that India or Laos needs it, you would not care. But if they tell you to drive one so you can breathe fresh air (a lie), or that oceans are going to overwhelm the beaches due to anthropological global warming (another lie), you might run right out and buy one (which is indirectly a coal burner, lol).

Bottom line is that they want to use all forms of energy. Coal, oil, wind, solar, hydro, etc. That way, living standards can be raised the world over. At least that is the theory. They just lie to everyone to try to accomplish this. Very Machiavellian. The end justifies the means. .
