They're cutting entitlements where they can, like with full soc security payments starting at a later age. Politicians are weak and spineless. Social Security should absolutely start at a later age, they need to get that done ASAP. We are all living longer. But you cannot and should not change it for anyone within say 15-20 years of retirement. Today's 20-40 year olds should be told SS starts at age 75-80. They have time to save on their own.
