Hi Tom. I have found from my own personal experience and othersthat for most to truly accept Jesus as their personal savior they have to come with a broken and contrite heart. My prayers are those that find this thread will be such.

I would like to ask a favor of you, Tom and my other friends in Christ, that you say a prayer for my youngest son, Joey and his wife Tammy. I have two wonderful grandsons that I wish to be raised properly by Christian parents and I would ask that you remember them in your prayers that they will come to know the Lord and He will remove the hardness of their hearts. I really believe that the times are near that we will begin to face tribulation and the faint of heart will not be able to stand.
Your brother in Christ,
James

God's Plan of Salvation-
1) The fact of sin
"All have sinned and come short of the glory of God." Rom. 3:23
2) The penalty of sin
"The wages of sin is death..." Rom. 6:23a
3) The insuffiency of works
"We are all as an unclean thing and all of our righteousnesses are as filthy rags." Isa. 64:6
4) Jesus Christ is our only hope and answer
"There is no other name given among men whereby we must be saved." Acts 4:12
5) The invitation
"Behold I stand at the door and knock, if any one hear my voice and open the door, I will come into him and sup with him and he with me."
Rev. 3:20
6) Your confession of Faith
"If any one will confess me before man, I will also confess him before my Father in heaven, and if anyone denies me before men, I will also deny him before my Father in heaven. Matthew 10:32-33

Tom, my advise to everyone so worried about the poor unsaved who come here, and not seeing perfect Christian type posts one to another will turn away from Christ, it is always a good idea to trace where said person usually hangs out and what they say. If any great harm has been done, believe me, nothing will keep that person whoever they are from Jesus Christ except their own willful desire to stay in the enemy's camp because it simply is more fun.

I know what you are saying, but like I said, follow peop[le's minds elsewhere and see where their minds reside when they are not criticizing or blampheming God here, and you will feel relieved of much guilt. Anyone else coming close to Jesus I doubt is being drawn by a desire to sit around for years and talk about the Bible. As you know, this is a result of the Holy Spirit, and not one of the main drawing forces.

And I know the devil loves to come and CHristian bash, it is just not something I think you have to feel guilty about. Nothing can keep anyone from Jesus CHrist or God in Heaven, not a host of demonic forces in human and spirit form, if they are so drawn.

You are a very gentle spirit, but this place is not all that it seems, and you need to tour the grander area before you get to worried about anything other than truth of the scriptures being spoken here, lest error be transported needlessly. The unsaved will continue to be drawn, no matter what we do, and those that do not really want what we have found will reject it if an angel of God comes to them directly. It is all individual and I respect your concern. I used to flip out over every lurker until I saw from where they came, and then I said, Oh.

Just a thought before anyone gets too guilty over the terminally unsaved staying that way. Some will, and others will gathered in again no matter what goes on here. Just a thought to comfort you.
Hope you see what I'm saying. Get out and walk around a little, it might shed light.
