How would ASND and CPQ fit as a tandem? I know there are lots of rumors swirling about CPQ and ASND popped into my head as a possible target, what with the share price being so low. What do you think?

Gary,

Apology accepted! As, I witnessed you were probably baited into your comments in a response to a previous post and did not intentionally set out to make such statements on your own behalf. None the less you have corrected your error in judgement.

Can you affirm a previous post of 30.5 in afterhours trading...I didn't see that. I'm still seeing 29 13/16

Jeff

< I committed an error for which I must apologize. In response to another inquiry, I
posted my firm's areas of practice and went on to say call us if you need work in
Arizona. That was a big mistake, as just pointed out to me by Jill in an email.>

That is a damn shame, because Tim Luke was going to apply for that job!!!! (Only kidding Tim, O.K.???)

Gary,

I accept.

I believe you have the highest standards bar none, of all the posters on this thread.

<<< this is for Tim Luke the trader and Gary Korn the Long Term investor >>

FWIW, I am long asnd and also have profited from some short-term trades. There is sufficient scope for both of you. I just dont understand why some one has to be wrong for the others to be right.
We have a market place of buyers, sellers and window-shoppers.

Tim, some of your calls have been very good. I acknowledge.

There, I said it and now it feels better.

*OT* #1

Gary,

<I have asked Jill to delete my offending email. Also, I apologize again for what I did and offer my thanks to whomever reported it. It was wrong and I appreciate being reminded of that very early on.>

I have a better idea. Have Jill delete Tim Luke's latest series of posts. At least your post was an honest mistake and not just a means of riling up the natives.

*OT* #2

Tim,

I am happy that you are smarter and have better hindsight that the rest of us. You are truly a legend in your own mind. Now, do you really think that it is necessary to make repetitive posts after posts to rub innocent people's nose into the fact that they might have purchased Ascend at a price that seems too high to you. I watched you get pounded a month or so ago because of some remarks that you made about Ascend going lower. And I felt kind of bad for you. You keep on badgering people and nobody is going to feel sorry for you.

IMHO,

Steve

Gary, Thanks but no apology necessary! I just (similarly) found out at my brokergae house that you cannot close a short position by using a computer trade.... I ended up with equal long and short positions in my account!

Just looked at a chart of ASND. It is one of the first tech stocks to jump its 50-day moving average line in some time although many other techs stocks are improving technically and getting close to the same line....

Sincerely,

Doug F.
