Yes, the original keto diet of high fat was created as a medicinal diet for helping brain function and cures for brain diseases. Today there is also groups who do high protein keto with less fat for building muscle and extensive workout routines. I've heard of clinical trials being performed on cancer patients. Even this week. It will be interesting to hear the results in the coming year. I've chosen the high fat because dementia and Parkinson runs in my family. If i still have my mind by 80. I'll consider it a win, win.8-)
