Jim, I also noticed CTX getting a lot of shelf space when I was looking for a new box. Also, CompUSA's own brand is contributing a lot to that store's sales. PC boxes are so commoditized that it is going to be tough to make money unless you have a hot new product nobody else has copied yet. MB

James:
An exceptionally valuable post. Can you supply any further details about the origins of the company? Is it a well organized "local cloner" or is the company endeavouring to compete nationally? Might you have some details as to who and or how it is being distributed? I'll follow up on this and post if you can get me on the scent.

Best, Earlie

Gotta friend looking for a machine -- gonna show him your post. Where'd you get this -- at Compusa? What kind of warranty -- 1 year?

Been thinking of upgrading my '486. I read that and it looks like it would be a waste. MB bought "top tier" and what'd it get him. Hope steve doesn't see this post <-g->
