Socialists took over the educational system and today's youth are brainwashed. The entire climate change alarmist stance is based on converting our economic & political systems and has nothing to do with the weather or climate. Their arguments fly in the face of historical fact and of biology. They like to call it climate change science, but the truth is there is nothing scientific about it. It is political. We discussed all of this in the early 1970s in political science classes at University. It is a prelude to one world government. They are not even secretive about it anymore. They are openly calling for the oversight of national policies by non democratic international bodies to control the "crises". It is going just as planned. Screw the facts,, they have a political system to implement.
