Noel: I did plug my zip code into the Web site and it told me then that I was not in the coverage area. But because my zip code is only 6 months old (plus the fact that I am just outside of Atlanta), I decided to call 333-DISH to see if it was a mistake. After explaining my zip code change, they told me that I would be able to receive the channels after all. I agree with your recommendation that a reputable local installer would have been a better way to go. Especially since I have learned from previous posts on this thread that the EXACT same equipment can be purchased at a substantially lower price. This weekend, DISH started running full page ads in Atlanta to inform the public of the local offering. Unfortunately, they keep speaking of the $199 base installation, 19.95 a month top 40, and 4.95 for the locals. Unless I missed the small print somewhere, they say absolutely NOTHING about requiring two dishes. Its a bait and switch scam to the 10th degree. They are going to irk a lot of people off. DISH has an excellent opportunity to grab a lot of market share in these local markets but they need to do it on the high road and not the low road. While I now have everything up and working properly at my house, I cannot recommend it to anybody without telling them about all of the problems that I have encountered. Word of mouth and good referrals are just as important as full page ads. Thanks for your help !!!! Carter
