If Clinton lied under oath about it, or told her to lie, most Americans say they'd want to see him leave office. But if Clinton's actions were limited to an affair with the then 21-year-old Lewinsky, and not perjury or suborning testimony, then most Americans would not demand his head, an ABC News/Washington Post poll has found. Indeed, after an initial drop Friday night, Clinton's ratings stabilized and even recovered some ground during the weekend. Despite the brouhaha, his job approval rating is 59 percent, essentially the same as its pre-scandal level.
