I haven't had the flu in over 40 years and I never get the flu shots. Not once. The only people I know who get the flu are the people who have had the shots. lol

Yeah, if you define the flu as having a fever.. knock on wood... ages. I'm "only" 62 and only recently started getting the flu shot... but I've had a couple of "severe colds" in the past 20+ years. My girlfriend says I talk to too many people and eat at too many potlucks... I say I like to have a life.

I had to take my chances in the 1980's. Company used to vaccinate every season. With live virus and i would catch it. Took my chances after that. Went back to vaccine around 2015. Found out it was no longer a live virus. Let the doctor talk me into it. Because of age. I've been fine . Never caught it since i quit the vaccine in the 80's.
