Excellent points.

I think I said RE is setting records or near records here... I thought Zillow was busted when I ran a spreadsheet for a friend with a large stock portfolio and several homes on the peninsula. It was shocking she was almost flat with the RE gains almost making up for the big stock market decline.

People here can't get to the Hamptons with a short drive like New Yorkers, but a nice house in Woodside or Atherton does pretty well.

Stephen Curry just paid $31M for his new Atherton home mercurynews.com ... this shows the images better velvetropes.com

It will be interesting to see if the push to convert all of our single family lots to 4-plexes so the far left liberals that want to live here but can't afford it on government salaries try to force tech workers who did well making our companies grow and picking good stocks to own and or work for, subdivide our lots so they can live here too... and they'll probably ask for subsidies too.

A friend Wing Foiling Berkeley

He has a gear shop in his small SF Home and does this full time... delivers gear you buy or order from him. He gets out most days too... extremely good at windsurfing, foiling and now wing dinging...
