No, I haven't tried a foil yet.... With my high deductible plan, I'm not really fond of learning a new sport that takes you a meter off the water on a sharp set of knives that you have to learn to avoid hitting WHEN you crash often.... so maybe you hit the board or mast and do a rib instead. I bruised or fractured a rib last year so I'm not really excited for a repeat... but I keep wanting to try so I may eventually, especially if/when my current favorite gear wears out.
