Hi Kirk,

Yikes, new dimension I never thought of.

Are those foils fiberglass or metal?

Ahh but to be young again eh?

Rule number one: Fall behind the board!

Years ago when I was in SF Bay area, I saw someone kite surfing. The sport was unheard of back then. You can't imagine how I felt about it. I was just sitting on the rocks looking at it as if I was a teenager that was a naked woman! At the time the gear was just too expensive for me. By the time I could afford it, I was sailing (with a boat) and had other things to do. Then a friend told me about the guys who were going 40 - 60 mi/hr on a kite surf and really drove in the point as to what could happen to my knees if I were to catch the waves in the wrong way and come to a sudden stop.

I filed the sport next to wingsuit flying...something that I may do when I am old enough not to care if I will live should I have an accident.
