"Better to compare Clinton to Nixon. . ." Read Will's article again. That is precisely what Will's article is doing. It is comparing Clinton and Nixon and the Republican and the Democrat responses to the two phenomena. Wilson doesn't really matter as long as you remember what Nixon did and paid the price for doing and what Clinton is doing and is trying to deny doing so that he doesn't have to pay the same price. Moral: If you play the game you pay the price--one way or the other.
