I certainly wouldn't call Sweden's "serious case rate" soaring. Since the end of July, the most patients they have had in intensive care on any one day is 5. That's why they are saying this is like a flu. Most people who catch the virus don't even need treatment. They recover on their own.

Worldwide, Covid has no greater mortality rate than the winter flu. Against some flu years much less so. It currently stands at .1%. 99.9% of the people are recovering. --and this includes people who are 70+ where the rate is more like 95%.

And many of the senior citizen deaths are from here in the US where Grandma Killer Democrat Governors like Cuomo, Murphy and Whitmer (even Newsom in the beginning) put covid patients in nursing homes to infect the populations thereof. Instead of handling it like past pandemics where they quarantined the frail to prevent them from getting exposure, our Democrats made sure they got exposed.

But for younger people, it just isn't all that.
