Yes I made an off the cuff guess based on a couple estimates early on. I care little what credibility I have with you or others. I doubt you have the right to speak for the board although others may share your view. Look at the stats and tell me why I am wrong about herd immunity I have learned a lot from the board although many of the best have left. I speak with knowledge few have in certain areas and some may want to hear what I have to say. I have been the go to person for my collegues my entire career I assume about 50 people max frequent this site. I came her as Elmat is my friend.It is the only place I write so I am not looking for accolades. I would prefer people that dislike my persona ignore me. If I didnt have agroup of nice people following me I would be following others but quiet as a mouse. I do apologize for my pollitical ranting but I have watched 4 years of florid lies and disrespect for Trump voters and enough is enough Trump won because of disrespect for his voters and likely will win again because of them I am truely a registered Democrat . I truly believe the Democratic Party is corrupt. That does not make me correct. I have watched the disrespect heaped on those who have supported Trump I was asked outright on my treatment team who I supported about a year ago. I never talk poloticy at work but I tell the trouth. I spent a year of being told what a jerk he is (much worse words) I have smilled and agreed he has an obnoxious personality. I have heard he is a racist and evil and so many ways. I just smiled and disagreed but said nothing about the other side I believe most Americans are good and want the best for the country I do think there is 5% racist on one side and 5% unfeeling fascists on the other. Yes I do believe the extreme of the Democratic Party are fascist but I will not waste my time explaining that here and yes I do have black friends who actually hate the Democratic Party. I believe we all live in our incorrect reality. Still I believe 90 percent want others good And yes I use use hyperbole to make a pointl. I am angry at the disrespect heaped on those who support Trump I can take any of it but many weaker people have been hurt Thiis anger is the biggest risk Biden has of losing the election. Trumps personality should have lost him this election. He has a good chance of winning as the Democratic party picked a sociopath to replace a sociopath and Trump haters disrespected 50% of the electorate who truely thought they were making the right choice I have sat out many elections and would likely have sat out this one out too, but now I cant Anyhow on to more important things than politics and may the least sociopathic win

I think predictions are difficult w/r to the pandemic because there are way too many variables in all cases, and especially if the disease trajectory is black hole influenced per gravitational force by a somewhat important election
