Don't forget Tripp got the idea to tape her conversations with Monica from that literary agent for self-perservation. Had she not taped those conversations, she would have had to lie in her deposition because who would believe her allegations. Even with the tapes, many people are still doubting her story. Tripp is getting the typical drubbing for whistle-blowing. It's sad to see the society-at-large conspiring with an evil man to come down on a do-gooder. I'm afraid the impact on America will be devastating. We'll see fewer and fewer people wanting to step forward for fear of being ostracized by the same society they care about. In the end, nobody would care about morals or values, just money. Maybe this is the beginning of the self-destruction of America.
