First: It should be obvious that I have never had "inside" information. If I did my 1997 investment results may have fared a little better. I just keep my eyes and ears open. Second: I've been told the volume was not 800,000, but 8,000,000! I (we) don't know what went on, but the tape spewed out some enormous numbers right before and right after the market closed. Hopefully we know the facts Monday. Third: Why would anyone that thought they KNEW something send info to "bigtoe"? It seems your knowledge of the Solv-Ex story is pretty minimal (based on question concerning DMG- Deutsch Morgan Grenfell) so you could start by reading some of the thread history. David
