Unfortunately, he passed away shortly after taking over the job as moderator of this thread... No joke... I knew him (in the 3-D sense), and he was as likable a poster as one could ever expect to find... But he had some detractors on this thread because everyone's sense of humor can be quite different, and many folks are completely intolerable of other folks whose humor they find lacking... I'm not saying you're wrong in what you saw in that particular post... Former moderator Jim might very well have censored that post... But he's long gone now, and no one else has stepped up to fill the void... In that poster's defense, that particular post was lacking in humor, but comes nowhere near what used to be found on this thread in terms of distasteful attempts at humor... From racial slurs to gender insults to sexual preferences to ethnic backgrounds to blatant bigotry (in all forms and manifestations), everything "not funny" was found here... EK!!!

IMPORTANT: This is not a JOKE Since JIMisJIM (RIP) passed away, we do not have a moderator. I contacted SI and it is proposed to organize a call for candidates. I volunteered to organize it. So the Call for Moderator candidates will be opened until April 12th. Please respond to this post if you wish to be a candidate. I will then put up an SI-Poll that will serve as an election. You may include a short statement as a sales pitch. Thank you P.
