How can something be shipped but not installed? CYMI is playing game again. What for?

Overall, number shipped = number at stepper maker + number installed at manufacturers.

At the Q1 point in time, number shipped = number installed at manufacturers. Possibly.

I like looking at this old stuff to get a feel for what's going on here.
Either new lasers must be developed or an expensive synchrotron will be required to generate enough EUV (extreme ultraviolet, 13 nm) and X-ray photons to meet throughput requirements.

The basic concern which fueled the stock decline was the
inventory build up question, as crudely defined by F-n's comments - that the lasers shipped outnumbered the rate of system installation by the stepper makers. So there is inventory accumulation at stepper manufacturers as they have learned now better installation the ship/install ratio can get closer to 1. The overproduction was intentional based on the Co's developing understanding of the Lithography business.
However now the Asia credit problems figure into things and make it more difficult to see ahead. Before it was complicated now more so. But they mentioned somehow something got shipped to Korea in spite of the obvious payment difficulties.

All in all I think the stock can put in a bottom at 15 but I believe it will be retested later when another wave of worry sweeps the markets. That is my optimistic scenario because then I will be able to buy back on the position I halved recently.:)
