My biggest problem with Mercedes is they are also famous for being very expensive to repair and maintain... but it is a nice car for sure! True for most German brands and you can see it in the depreciation when they get off warranty and older. In theory, cars like the new EQS should be much more reliable with no ICE drivetrain, although with the incredible amount of software driven tech in that car one better hope their 'over the air' updates work well <ggg>.
