I went on that site, and it gave me a 98 and my wife a 99. The last time I did one of these things about 8-years ago, I was 96 and she was 92. This one didn't ask about parental cancer, which would have smacked my wife down, as both her parents have had it.

Does this mean I can't tease her anymore that I'm going to outlive her?

Her dad was supposed to be dead by the numbers by now, but he's still around. Dude is dodging bullets, I guess.

for example, 30 or 40 years of not drinking should count for far more than 3 years

Tee-totaling is not necessary. In fact, moderate drinking can slightly improve your lifespan.

From Q9 of the NML questionnarie (+1 result for me but does not distinguish between 0 and 2 drinks):

"Drinking moderately (no more than 2 drinks per day for men, 1 for women) may be good for you. But, drinking too much alcohol causes auto accidents, cancers, and liver disease. Watch how much you drink, and don't drink and drive. (1 drink equals 12 oz. of beer, 5 oz. of wine, or 1 1/2 oz. of 80-proof spirits.)"

And from: blueprintincome.com (results for me):

Lifestyle>Alcohol
0 drinks/week base
<2 +1
2-7 +2
8 or more +1

There are many studies that confirm this, especially for red wines.

Zum wohl!

P.S. While playing with this last model, I discovered a few other things. Income makes no difference for any level (which is what I thought). In Education, only College Graduate makes +1 compared to the others. I wonder if this company might be fishing for information for their annuity business? IMHO annuities are an IQ test...if you have one you failed. :-))
