I don't trust most of MSM to give unbiased "facts" any more. It is sad. I didn't pay much attention to the trial or the case since we have so many issues here, but I started listening to Lester Holt do the NBC Nightly news and they've had short, daily summaries of the case and it seemed pretty unbiased, especially when the reporter disclosed something I'd not heard before, that one of the men/looters/whatever killed actually had a firearm and pointed it at the kid before he shot him. That is there was actual self defense. To say that you traveled 20 - 25 miles to the town, your father lived in, as interstate travel is a bit of stretch. 20 to 25 miles is shorter than many daily commutes here. Depending on traffic and what roads I take, my round trip to Coyote Pt to windsurf is between 41 and 50 miles... Crazy I'd not heard that either. For us, going to another state is at least 200 miles as Tahoe is the closest state to the Bay Area....

BTW, it isn't just "all about politics" where you are in who is charged with crime. Here the worthless POS DA in SF, son of murders that came from the public defender's department and won on promising to go soft on crime, get rid of bail, etc.... has been recalled by the smarter people in SF. Lo and behold, he's doubled down to get the votes of the criminals who back him by charging a police officer for murder in a case that was considered justifiable for years.... like suddenly he has to activate his base. It is sickening.
