Very well put. In short: US and China are in a cold war. It is a war the US cannot win long term, but they can produce heartache and problems short term.

I always felt Singapore was the center of Asian trade due to the fact that the regions best banks were in Singapore.

Tencent is a very cheap stock, fundamentally speaking. Fair value is almost a double from current levels. It is tempting to go long Tencent, but I have refrained.

The day Didi got delisted, Tencent only fell 2.5% in contrast to Chinese Fintrchs that were down

anywhere from 10%-16%. Chinese A shares were flat to slightly up on the session. But sentiment hurts them too.

I was a little surprised and very disappointed that Biden couldn't tone down hostilities and remove tariffs with China like he did with the Europeans.
