Just buy in-the-money calls. I really don't understand why you are not comfortable with the options -- You can control more shares on Ligand than with warrants (That is what you want, isn't it?)

I'm serious about about the options [but not about the credit cards :-)]

Torben, I expect things to look great on Monday. After the close today another 25K of LGND was bought at 12 15/16. Today's move takes LGND above it's 50 day moving average and eliminates margin calls. The upcoming moves should clear out any remaining weak hands and this time we may even be able to handle the day and short term traders when the big boys jump in with both feet.
