Paul, Rambus (RMBS) surged more than $4 after the stock had been languishing for sometime. The unofficial word that I got from my broker was that, today, Rambus and Intel made joint presentations at the IEEE conference and disclosed the following: 1) The development of next-generation RDRAM bus for mainstream PCs is AHEAD of schedule; 2) The relationship between Rambus and Intel is as solid as ever, despite the interim noises made on 100 MHz SDRAMs. Do you--or anyone else--have any detailed information?
