MT--Trying to recall on the license timing. I recall an article that said any disruption of Video Poker before the year end (98) would necessitate the state having to return funds, which of course they would not want to do. I thought I also recall that the license must be paid for 2 years at $4000 and that each license is paid from the time it is established for two years. I just caught a person at the Coin Operators Association and he stated the example that if a person bought a license in May of 97 ,that the license went through May of 99 and money would have to be given back. He said this topic came up in the House Ways and Means meeting last wendsday, because it is one thing if you have to lose revenue but its more critical if you have to give money back. I'll check to be sure with another source.

It was interesting that his opinion is that the politicians are leaning to a full voter referendum to get themselves of the hook. He also mentioned that this Wed. the full House of Reps is going to debate the Referendum proposals. So we may know then which direction they are going.

Interesting Letter to the Editor from Jake Knots a well known Rep. this AM:

MT --Late for a Golf Match--But do you know how many monthly options Corkey Logue was getting? How many would he totally have from the time he came on board? And are those exercisable any time or is there a waiting period?
