So isn't that EXACTLY why Musk should be involved in any TAXPAYER funded government program and discussion about how to move forward into the future?
I think Musk is way ahead of Ford and General Motors in electric vehicles. The old car companies have been very successful with their huge number of car-parts and the associated relationships along with their scale of operations with ICE technology. They just aren't going to give it up. They will make little EV offerings and then retreat to the way they have always done it when those heavy, too many parts designs are ineffective. In the meantime Musk will be making electric vehicles as if they were electric vehicles from the get-go

I'm not paying these crooks in the White House to ONLY promote the failed or failing business models of people in exchange for backing their political SOCIAL AGENDA. I believe that is illegal just as it is constitutionally illegal to put race and gender qualifications on government jobs.
Biden is a fool to dream of a car industry who's time passed 50 years ago.
Unions are far too powerful and have made some great gains for their members but it came at a huge cost to society.... it forced good paying jobs, including high paying, high skill jobs for very smart hardware engineers overseas. Trump tried to change that, which won him a large swath of typically voters for Democrats, but he was hated by both his party and the far left for taking away so much of their power (that came from money.)

IF you are a moderate Democrat, then you should be loudly supporting the two brave souls who stopped Build-Back-Broke while still supporting "liberal values" like choice and a viable Social Security retirement system along with working to get the power away from unions and their pension systems.

It is so disappointing.
